Medieval Law Manuscripts At Trinity College, Cambridge
The manuscripts cover a wide range of Canonical, Ecclesiastical and Civil law texts, including Anglo Saxon law terms, accounts of High Court of Parliament and the Court of Chancery in the 16th and 17th centuries. A 12th century Decreta Pontificum contains a letter from Pope Alexander to Lanfranc whilst a 17th century manuscript contains an account of the Gunpowder Plot.
