This series of volumes contains copies of the correspondence between the Sovereign, the Lord Mayor, Minister, the Privy Council, the Courts of Aldermen and Common Council.

The subjects that are covered include: the government of the City of London and the City’s rights and customs, religion, markets, churches, trade and commerce etc.
