Sight & Sound: 1932 – 2006
For over seventy-five years Sight & Sound, the journal of the British Film Institute, has been one of the world’s leading film quarterlies. Its regular publication makes accessible an overall insight into the development of the cinema, and reflects more accurately than any book or reference volume the trends of taste and fashion. The value of Sight & Sound is particularly enhanced by its editorial independence of either the film world or the authorities. Published in association with the British Film Institute. Since 1991, Monthly Film Bulletin has been incorporated in the journal.
